These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and Startup Tech Partners LLC for using Beeline. Please read them carefully. Section 13 asks you to resolve disputes by individual arbitration, and explains how to opt out within 30 days.
Last updated: November 3, 2026. Effective: November 3, 2026 for new users. For people who already had a Beeline account, these Terms take effect on December 3, 2026, or when you accept them in the app, if that is sooner.
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Startup Tech Partners LLC ("Beeline", "we", "us"). They cover the MyBeeline app for school staff, the Beeline parent apps, the web admin at web.mybeeline.io, our website, and every other Beeline app, website or feature (together, the "Service").
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these Terms. When you first sign in, and after a material change, the apps ask you to agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your Beeline account
Your account is between you and Beeline. When you sign in to Beeline you become a Beeline user with a Beeline account, whether a school added you as a member of staff or as a parent, or a parent added you as an adult who may collect a child. Your account continues until you delete it or we close it under section 14, whether or not you belong to any school.
Schools give you roles, not your account. A school may give you, change or remove a role at that school, such as administrator, teacher, dispatcher, traffic controller or parent. Removing your role at a school ends your access to that school; it does not delete your Beeline account. You can belong to more than one school, with different roles at each.
Who is responsible for which information. Beeline is responsible for your account information: your profile, sign-in details, devices and how you use the Service. Each school owns and controls its own information: its students, classes, the roles it gives its staff, its pickup and dismissal records, lanes and settings. We hold a school's information for that school as its service provider. Either way, you keep every right the law gives you over information about you.
What your school sees. A school's authorized staff see what you do in that school's part of the Service, such as the check-ins, releases and pickups you record. That is part of the school's records and stays with the school even if you leave it or delete your account.
3. Signing in by text message, and keeping your phone safe
We sign you in with a one-time code sent by text message to your mobile number. We send these texts only when you, or someone using your number, asks to sign in, and occasionally about your account. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. To stop our texts, reply STOP to one of them or email info@mybeeline.io; you will then not be able to sign in by text message until you ask to receive them again.
Anyone who can read the texts on your phone, or open your phone while you are signed in, can use your account. Keep your phone locked with a passcode or biometric, never share a sign-in code with anyone (we will never ask you for one), and sign out of any phone you share.
If your phone is lost or stolen, or you think someone else has used your account, tell us at info@mybeeline.io straight away and, if you are school staff, tell your school office too, so your access can be ended.
You are responsible for what is done through your account until you tell us, except where it happened because of our own failure.
Text messages depend on mobile carriers and are not guaranteed to arrive, or to arrive on time.
4. What Beeline is, and what it is not
Beeline is a communication and record-keeping tool. It helps a school's staff and families tell each other who is arriving, who is collecting which child, and when a child has been released.
Beeline does not release children. People do. The school and its staff decide every release of a child, and must verify the identity and authority of the collecting adult before releasing any child, following the school's own procedures, whatever the app shows. The adult collecting a child is responsible for being who they say they are and for being authorized to collect that child.
The school decides who may collect a child. Lists of adults who may collect a child are set and kept by the school and, where the school allows, by parents. Beeline does not check, approve or guarantee any person on a list.
The app can be wrong, late or unavailable. The Service depends on phones, mobile networks, location signals, text messages, app stores and internet services that we do not control. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at any particular time, that location will be accurate, that a check-in, notice or message will be delivered, delivered on time or delivered only once, or that the information shown is current. Schools and families must have a way to run pickup without Beeline, and must use it whenever the Service is unavailable or something looks wrong.
Not for emergencies. Do not use Beeline to report or manage an emergency. Call 911.
5. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for the school and family purposes it is made for, at schools where you hold a role. You must not:
look at, copy, export, photograph, screenshot or share information about any child, parent or member of staff except as your role at that school requires;
use information from the Service to contact, follow, locate or harass anyone;
add a person, child, vehicle or pickup adult you are not entitled to add, or check in a child you are not authorized to collect;
enter information you know is false;
sign in as someone else, or let anyone else use your account;
try to get into any account, school or information you are not authorized to see, or get around any limit or control in the Service;
probe or test the security of the Service, except as described below;
scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service, or use bots or other automated means to access it;
upload malware, or interfere with or overload the Service;
use the Service in breach of any law, including laws protecting children, privacy and equal treatment.
Reporting a security problem. If you find a security problem, tell us at info@mybeeline.io. We will not take legal action against a report made in good faith, provided you did not access, change or keep more information than you needed to show the problem, did not disrupt the Service, did not share the problem with anyone else before we had a reasonable time to fix it, and deleted any personal information you saw.
6. Information you enter
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter: your own details, which must be your real name and a mobile number you control, your vehicles, the adults you add to collect a child, and the check-ins and releases you record. Keep your details up to date.
If you add another adult, for example someone who may collect your child, you confirm that you are entitled to give us their name and mobile number for this purpose, and that you have told them.
You give us permission to store, process, display and send what you enter as needed to provide the Service, for you and for the schools you belong to, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Location in the parent apps
If your school uses arrival by location, the parent app uses your phone's location to tell your school you are arriving, as described in the Privacy Policy. You choose whether to allow it in your phone's settings; if you do not, ask your school how to check in another way. Location can be inaccurate or unavailable, and staff must never release a child because of location alone.
8. Beeline's intellectual property and your license
Beeline owns Beeline. All intellectual property in Beeline belongs to Startup Tech Partners LLC (and, for parts it licenses from others, its licensors). This includes the apps, websites and web admin, the servers and their interfaces, all software and code, designs, screens and layouts, the Beeline and MyBeeline names, logos and trademarks, documentation, data models and database structure, and statistics and reports we create from use of the Service that do not identify any person or school. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your license. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service, on devices you control, for the purposes in section 5, while your account is open and you comply with these Terms.
What you may not do. You may not, or help anyone else to: copy, modify, translate or make works based on the Service; decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction; remove any notice of ownership; rent, sell, sublicense or resell access to it; copy the Service, or use its code, content or information, to make a competing product; or use our names or logos without our written permission.
Information you and your school enter is not ours. You keep whatever rights you have in information you enter, and information a school enters about its students belongs to the school, not to us. Section 6 is the only permission you give us over it.
Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we may use them for any purpose without payment or obligation to you. Please do not include information about a child in feedback.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
WE PROVIDE THE SERVICE WITH REASONABLE CARE AND SKILL. APART FROM THAT, AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", AND WE MAKE NO OTHER PROMISE OR WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OF LOCATION, OR DELIVERY OF ANY MESSAGE. Some states do not allow some of these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS: (A) BEELINE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL; AND (B) BEELINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT THE SERVICE IN ANY 12 MONTHS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THOSE 12 MONTHS AND US$100.
What we do not limit. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. In particular, this section does not limit liability for our gross negligence, wilful misconduct or fraud; for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where the law does not allow that to be limited; for our breach of laws protecting personal information or children's information, where those laws do not allow limits; or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
11. Your indemnity
If someone makes a claim against Beeline because you entered information you were not entitled to enter or knew was false, broke section 5, or misused another person's information, you will cover Beeline's reasonable losses and legal costs from that claim.
We will tell you promptly about the claim, let you take part in defending it, and not settle it in a way that admits fault on your behalf without your agreement.
This section does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by our own fault, or to school staff acting within the duties their school gave them; the school's agreement with us covers that.
12. Deleting your account
You may delete your account at any time in the app, from your profile, or at web.mybeeline.io/delete-account. When you delete it, we delete your name, mobile number and email address on your account, your sign-in details (you are signed out on every device) and your roles at every school. Some records are kept: your school's past pickup records, which show "Deleted user" instead of your name and still show pickup times and technical details of the phone used; if you used the parent app, the location points it recorded, which are kept but no longer linked to your name or number; database backups for up to 30 days; technical logs and crash reports for a limited time; and information we must keep by law or to handle a dispute or a security problem. The Privacy Policy explains this in full. Deleting your account does not delete a school's information about its students; only the school can ask for that.
13. Disputes and arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes are resolved.
Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, send a written notice to info@mybeeline.io describing it and what you want. We will both try in good faith to resolve it for 60 days before either of us starts arbitration or a court case.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of the state you live in gives you protections that cannot be waived.
Individual arbitration. Any dispute between you and Beeline about the Service or these Terms that we cannot resolve informally will be decided by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except as stated below. The arbitrator decides whether this section applies to a dispute. For claims under US$10,000, Beeline will pay the filing, administration and arbitrator fees. The arbitration will take place in the county where you live, or by video or on written submissions if you prefer.
No class actions. You and Beeline may bring claims against each other only individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided by a court, not in arbitration.
Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may ask a court for an urgent order to stop misuse of the Service, of personal information or of intellectual property.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of arbitration and the class action waiver by emailing info@mybeeline.io within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, giving your name and mobile number and saying that you opt out. Opting out does not affect anything else in these Terms.
Courts. Any dispute that is not arbitrated will be decided by the state or federal courts in Texas, unless the law of the state you live in requires otherwise.
State law. Where the law of the state you live in does not allow part of this section, that part does not apply to you and the rest does.
14. Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close your account, or end your access to a school, if you break these Terms in a serious way or repeatedly, if the law or a lawful request requires it, or to protect a child, other users or the security of the Service. When a school tells us your role has ended, that ends your role at that school, not your account.
Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. In an urgent case, for example a risk to a child or to the security of the Service, we may act first and tell you afterwards.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (section 12).
Sections 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 19 continue to apply after your account is closed.
15. Age
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to have a Beeline account. Children do not use Beeline; their information is provided by their school. If we learn an account belongs to someone under that age, we will close it.
16. Schools and the School Agreement
If you set up or manage a school in Beeline, the school is also bound by its separate School Agreement with us. The School Agreement governs the relationship between the school and Beeline, and where it differs from these Terms about the school's information, the School Agreement prevails. These Terms govern your own use of the Service. Some features may have extra terms shown when you first use them; those terms form part of these Terms for that feature. If you are a member of the Beeline team, your agreement with Startup Tech Partners LLC also applies and prevails where it differs.
17. App stores
If you downloaded a Beeline app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and Beeline only, not with Apple or Google. Beeline, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its maintenance and support, and any claims about it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection and privacy claims, and claims that it infringes someone else's intellectual property. Apple and Google have no duty to provide support or maintenance for the app. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app; if the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. You must also follow the store's own terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. For a change that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires otherwise or the change is needed sooner for safety or security, and the apps will ask you to agree to the new Terms when you next sign in. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the change takes effect. A change to section 13 does not apply to a dispute that either of us had already told the other about before the change.
19. General
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any feature terms are the whole agreement between you and Beeline about the Service.
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and that part is enforced as far as the law allows.
You may not transfer these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, and will tell you if we do.
If we do not enforce a part of these Terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
We send notices to you in the app, or to your email address or mobile number. You send notices to us at info@mybeeline.io.
Neither of us is responsible for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages of mobile carriers, cloud providers or app stores, or natural disasters.
These Terms are written in English, and the English version governs.
